Give us your best elevator pitch for Venue57
Venue57 is an 8,000 sq-ft. multi-level, stunning blank canvas event space that offers a downtown NYC loft-like sensibility in Midtown Manhattan at 5th Avenue and 57th Street. It houses an array of event types, such as product launches, fashion presentations, conferences, media and press events, corporate holiday parties, and social events.
What would you say is Venue57’s most unique offering?
3 most unique offerings: State-of-the-art LED lighting system. 50-ft. wide terrace offering dramatic cityscape views. Location on 57th Street off of 5th Avenue.
What do you think would surprise most planners to know about your space?
Unlike most one room loft spaces, Venue57 offers event flow over 3 large white areas/rooms.
What is one thing you wish more event planners knew about your space?
The space was constructed specifically with the needs of event professionals, in mind. (Built by the same team that developed and managed the illustrious Center548.) It offers state-of-the-art lighting, large catering kitchen, staff changing room, bridal/green room on both floors, coat room, pipe grid for rigging throughout 9th floor and wifi (100 up and down). It is flexible/adaptable and very user friendly.
What is the most memorable thing you’ve seen an event do with your space?
The most memorable thing we’ve seen recently at an event at Venue57 was during a product launch that offered food from Sweden including a food cart serving tunnbrodsrulle. As we understand, it is a favorite food in Sweden after a night out, or maybe the day after the night out. Comfort food… a wrap containing sausage, mashed potatoes, thin bread and sometimes shrimp salad.
