A LOT has happened since our final curtain call on techsytalk LIVE #10 back in April 2017. More immediately, the events industry as we know it has been completely upended since the indefinite halting of large gatherings due to COVID-19 pandemic. As event professionals, we, by job description are practiced at coming up with workable solutions on the fly to mitigate unplanned disasters – but THIS is a challenge unlike anything most of us have experienced in our professional lifetimes.
The events industry, worldwide, is currently in crisis without the ability to gather in large groups for events and meetings. So we’ve had to adapt and figure out how to accomplish our objectives using the virtual realm with the available technology.
So why is the techsytalk brand coming out of “retirement”? Fortunately, we just so happened to be early adopters of using technology, in person and virtually, to effectively enhance and execute events. We excel at this very thing. We’ve been flooded recently with a flurry of inquiries from our industry peers desperately trying to figure out this “virtual events” landscape and we’d like to lend our expertise to the industry as well as re-open the platform for event professionals to learn, share & network GLOBALLY.
We didn’t know where techsytalk was gonna go when we conceived it a decade ago – but we followed the need and accomplished things that we never dreamed we would along that journey. Now, we’re launching the techsytalk Tribe memberships & bringing back our techsytalk LIVE Global Virtual Conference to join our fellow event professionals across the globe as we fight to navigate the murky waters that are: “events in the age of a pandemic”.
