Episode 40: Legal Issues Returning to In-Person Events with Steve Adelman from Adelman Law Group

I am excited to learn more about the risk management and legal issues event professionals face as we return to the world of in-person events as we talk this week to Steve Adelman, Attorney with Adelman Law group. Steve has spent years of his career considering risk issues with venue safety and security and is a very trusted resource as we look to Covid compliance as well.

Steven A. Adelman is head of Adelman Law Group, PLLC in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Vice President of the Event Safety Alliance.  His law practice focuses on risk and safety consulting for live events throughout North America, and he serves as an expert witness in event-related lawsuits.  Steve Adelman is principal author of the authoritative Crowd Management standard in the United States, ANSI ES1.9-2020, as well as three rounds of reopening guidance for the event industry during the pandemic.  Steve is a sports and entertainment law professor at Arizona State University, and his many publications include the monthly “Adelman on Venues” blog.
