Behind the Hustle: Stella Ballarini (@scoozievents)

Stella Ballarini does it all! Stella had a passion for cooking since the age of 9 when she cooked alongside her French Grandmother. From a young age she grew up exposed to international cuisine. Being a professionally trained ballerina took her to Italy where she lived for 10 years studying under famous renowned chefs before returning to NYC to open Scoozi Events in 1996.

Scoozi Events has gone on to win awards such as “Most Creative Food & Beverage Caterer” by ISES (International Special Events Society, featured in magazines such as Biz Bash’s Top 100 Events, Biz Bash’s Most Creative Catering Chef and is a featured speaker at the Macy’s Culinary Council.

Stella’s approach to food is playful & fun and Scoozi’s food is backed by the finest ingredients available, never compromising on quality, taste or presentation. She is on an internal mission to always create something new or make an innovative twist on something old.

Stella’s love for animals & the earth makes being green a priority for Scoozi Events. Scoozi was “green before it was fashionable” certified by the Green Restaurant Association since 2011 now reaching an all time high rating of three stars! Scoozi does everything possible to help make this earth a greener place. We recycle, compost & reduce energy in our offices. We also source locally grown produce & farmer’s market meats & cheeses.
