If you were to ask one of Stephanie’s family members or friends what she enjoys in life, they would tell you that Stephanie is a planner, and loves to plan events, big or small. Stephanie has spent over the past 12 years working in the city in the Fashion, Food and Event industries and has helped plan and execute events along the way for companies including, Jive Records, Z100, Le Sabon, American Diabetes Association, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Project by Project, Star Chefs and more. Stephanie has also built up a portfolio of events that she has helped friends and family prepare in her spare time. Stephanie is the truest sense of the phrase, “Jacqueline of All Trades.” She brings her experience from every industry she’s worked in, and applies it to everything she does. Stephanie finds the calm in chaos with ease and enjoys the intricate details that make an event spectacular. Stephanie received her BA in Communication Arts with an Arts Management minor from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC. Stephanie is currently working as a Community Manager at WeWork Studio Square, where she manages the building and plans events there, but also assists event organizers in holding events at other WeWork locations in the NYC area. On the side, she writes event coverage and reviews for Socially Superlative, a NYC-based event website, covering predominantly food, travel and entertainment stories. Stephanie resides in Astoria.

The top 2 most surprising things I’ve learned about the events industry since starting are: I feel like from the outside, you can’t fathom the amount of minutia that goes into making a successful event. The second is that keeping up on event trends is very important to having a successful current event.

My biggest event industry pet peeve is: Poorly planned and unorganized events and long check in lines!
