What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
For the event host or organizer: knowing what “busy” really means so that events can earn a better ROI
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
Event planners and hosts across B2B shows that are mid to large size.
What does your tool help event planners do better?
Understand audience engagement. For example, which parts of the show had the highest and lowest traffic? Where did attendees dwell the longest and where did they return to most often? With this information, show organizers can plan the next event better while keeping sponsors and exhibitors happy (and coming back, thus reducing churn) because their business case for taking part is now more clear.
How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
Our Beacon based solution is mostly compared with RFID technology and also, traditional badge scanning solutions. Our tool is less costly and cumbersome to deploy, more accurate in results and less intrusive for the attendee and exhibitors to be party to.
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
The online portal which gives near real time access to event activity: heat maps showing traffic patterns in simple colours, a dashboard showing summarized attendee engagement booth by booth and a qualified lead report that shows exhibitors and sponsors who really needs to be called on Monday.
Anything else we need to know?
It’s a very cost effective solution, given our pricing model that allows for an event organizer to dip their toe into this new service with minimal risk and investment but then afterwards, trade up and get more data even though the show may be finished.
This weekly series spotlights a new tech tool that is designed to help make planning events much more seamless. Whether it’s using event software to track every detail from start to finish or mobile apps that deliver content to attendees’ fingertips, these technologies allow planners to divert their stress to more critical issues like deciding which napkin color looks best.
