We Pinned It: Christmas

White Christmas

We’re dreaming of a white Christmas, aren’t you? White lights, that is, twinkling against a backdrop of … well, any backdrop is made prettier with twinkling lights! Even if you only have a small corner to work with, you add a little red, a little green, a little silver and you’ve immediately made your surroundings more festive.

If you’ve got a ballroom, however, you can really go grand. Multiple trees, with different color themes add an air of elegance to any event space. Tables can be simple – white china/red napkins – or very intricate with elaborate centerpieces, linens and place settings.

A Few of Our Favorite Things

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? No? Neither have we! If you’re like a lot of people, putting that list together and sticking to a budget can be very challenging. Luckily, there’s an app to help you keep track of gift spending. And, if you don’t like going out on Black Friday, technology makes it very easy for you to shop from the comfort of your own home on Cyber Monday.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

One of the coolest things about technology at this time of year is that your child can get not only a phone call from Santa but a video message too. So, if your little one is teetering between naughty and nice, a message from the North Pole might be just what’s needed to get him/her back in line. And, on Christmas Eve, kids (and parents!) love to track Santa’s route with the Norad Santa Tracker app.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Whether you’re involved in a cookie exchange or you attend an ugly sweater party, don’t forget that this time of year is so much fun!

About Liz King

I started my first company in 2010 in the midst of the down economy. By sharing content on Twitter, Facebook, and my blog, I gained expertise in the event planning industry and have become a leader and influencer. Thankfully, I've been named Top 25 Most Influential Event Planners in 2013, 40 Under 40 Up-and-Coming Event Planners in 2011, the #Eventprofs Most Thought Provoking Blog and People’s Choice Award. This created a platform for me to build my business and strong brand even further. Working with clients on events like Earn $100K Summit and S.H.E. Summit Week, I help entrepreneurs integrate technology into their events to better engage their attendees. In addition to our client work, we also hosts our own events. As the founder of TechsyTalk and PlannerTech, I'm incredibly dedicated to educating fellow event professionals on how technology can enhance their events.
