What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
We’ve interviewed a bunch of people that were looking for venues for their weddings, birthdays, meetups, etc… and they were using Google search to find venues, and they would spend a lot of time calling and emailing places that were unavailable, out of budget, or just not what they were looking for. We made venuevortex.com to make sifting through this chaos easier. You can reach out to several venues at once and find out almost instantly which ones are available on the date you need, at the right price, and if they can accommodate your event needs.
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
The optimal audience for this tool is a crossover between social, and corporate. Generally, people that are looking for a venue for their meeting, business dinner & banquet, conference, wedding, meetup, birthday, bridal shower, baby shower (and more). Our user base is a combination of event planning professionals and non-professionals that we refer to as consumers. In essence though, it’s a consumer application – we make it easy for people that are planning events to find and book venues, by connecting them to venue representatives online.
What does your tool help event planners do better?
In short, we help event planners find the right venue for their event and connect them with the venue representative. The longer answer is, we help event planners find venues that meet their needs by using our filters so that they can filter venues by event type, venue type, capacity, price, and amenities. Event planners can connect with venue representatives through our platform and get all of their questions answered almost immediately.
How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
We are using the latest technology and because of that with our platform we’re creating the best/simplest user experience. We have also implemented a live chat aspect to our tool so that event planners can connect with and communicate with venue representatives in real-time.
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
As a registered user, you can click the “Add To My Queue” button on as many venues as you’d like and send a bulk message to all of them at once about your event. This streamlines the process immensely, and allows you to find out which venues are best for your event quickly.
