What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?

For people organizing activities who need short term space, Peerspace is a marketplace that provides access to unique spaces. Unlike hotels and traditional listing services, Peerspace makes it easy to book the right space for any activity.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?

The majority of our spaces are applicable for a variety of audiences and activities. From a beautiful industrial warehouse style space perfect for corporate events and conferences, to a rustic country barnyard perfect for weddings, to our many urban lofts and studios that are regularly used for team meetings or for video production, we pride ourselves on having unique, creative spaces for any activity.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

Peerspace provides event planners with access to undiscovered spaces and one-of-a-kind locations for events. Our marketplace helps event planners explore spaces, compare options, message hosts, and book venues all through our web and mobile apps. In addition, the Peerspace Concierge team can assist with ancillary items such as equipment rental or catering services.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?

Unlike hotel conference rooms, or venues offering drab meeting room rentals, each space on the Peerspace marketplace is unlike any other. We curate the marketplace to offer a distinct variety of inspiring spaces that our customers won’t find anywhere else. We also pride ourselves on price transparency so all guests know their costs up front before initiating a booking request.  We currently operate in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle metro areas with plans to expand to other areas throughout the year.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

The coolest feature of our product isn’t a “feature” at all – it’s our world-class Concierge team. Beyond our diverse listings and easy booking process, Peerspace helps event planners ensure their event needs are met. We know renting unique event space is the top challenge, but not far behind is planning for the day of the booking. Our team is available at a moment’s notice to help you arrange catering, furniture rental, audio visual, cleaning services, and more. We believe our personal touch sets us apart.
