What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?

Most event programs and solutions offer a “use once” stand alone service. Follr offers an event community that allows you to build an audience before and after the event, conference or meeting. This helps events come to life and creates an on going relationship with attendees and guests.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?

Follr is a SaaS platform that was built for groups of a few dozen right through to a few million. The groups we’re seeing engage on our platform run the gamut – they focus around clubs, charity bike rides and fun runs, corporate events, as well as larger events and concerts.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

If I was to boil it down, I would simply say – Communicate!!! Follr allows event planners to easily communicate with one, some or all of the attendees and pulls (ALL) social media, video and general event content into one concise place for attendees to see. This helps event organizers plan, manage and even promote events through an active community platform.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?

We all know there are other companies offering online ticketing and event solutions. Where Follr differs is we also offer a vibrant, active online community along with an online ticketing platform. This helps events come to life vs. stand alone “use once” services. Follr also offers incredibly rich user profiles (Example- http://www.follr.me/Lukemahoney) which help break the ice for attendees so they can make better, more meaningful connections before and after the event.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

In this instance I would have to say the dynamic social wall – https://follr.com/Communities/Blossom/SocialMedia. Follr instantly pulls in and aggregates all social media, blog and other content channels into one concise, easily digestible place. That way your attendees or group will never miss a tweet or post again! This also goes both ways – event planners can push content out to all synced channels with ease – simply post on your community and we’ll instantly update your social media channels too.

We have an extensive product road map in the pipeline and plan to add amazing new features to enhance meetings and events every month.

Our next major release will be the Follr mobile application, so event planners can communicate with attendees right into their pocket from anywhere!
