Years in the events industry: 5

To me, being an event hustler means: Passionate about what you do, listen to others, appreciate and respect each other.

The top 2 most surprising things I’ve learned about the events industry since starting are:

  1. Networking, words of mouth works way better than other old method of advertising
  2. Everyone with any background can be event planners.

How did you get your start in the events industry? Always passionate about event industry, woke up one day decided I should ditch finance and just do it!

My biggest event industry pet peeve is: People think one size fits all, they expect you to have a price and idea after telling you about their event in one or two sentences.

“No such thing as TMI”

One thing that would really surprise people to learn about me is: I am a CPA and used to be an Auditor for (too) many years.
