From destination management to event production, Christina Rene is a rainmaking event professional, whose career spans 10 years, 4 industries and a plethora of high-end brands. Starting her career in destination management, Christina worked on prominent corporate events for clients that included Citigroup and Nelson Mandela’s Peace Parks Foundation.

Christina has also worked on the more personal side of event planning…weddings. Through countless weddings, Christina served as wedding planner and lead bridal liaison for a wedding planning and design firm, where she learned to master the ““psyche of a bride”, and anticipate needs before ever said. Four years later, Christina shifted her sights to boutique hotels, and joined the team at Morgans Hotel Group where she managed onsite corporate and high profile events for Facebook, Morgan Stanley, The Colbert Report and G-Star, among others.

Now running two of her own agencies, Christina is just getting started. She is the Owner and Creative Director of Voilà Event Solutions – a full-service events and hospitality provider offering sales and management consulting, as well as event production and design. In February 2015, alongside her business partner, she launched Space In The Raw, an innovative real estate platform for pop-up events, turning New York’s vacant spaces into brilliant visions.

About Liz King

I started my first company in 2010 in the midst of the down economy. By sharing content on Twitter, Facebook, and my blog, I gained expertise in the event planning industry and have become a leader and influencer. Thankfully, I've been named Top 25 Most Influential Event Planners in 2013, 40 Under 40 Up-and-Coming Event Planners in 2011, the #Eventprofs Most Thought Provoking Blog and People’s Choice Award. This created a platform for me to build my business and strong brand even further. Working with clients on events like Earn $100K Summit and S.H.E. Summit Week, I help entrepreneurs integrate technology into their events to better engage their attendees. In addition to our client work, we also hosts our own events. As the founder of TechsyTalk and PlannerTech, I'm incredibly dedicated to educating fellow event professionals on how technology can enhance their events.
