What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve? 

There are platforms for academic conferences to accept papers and do peer review. However, the needs of an academic conference goes beyond only accepting papers and conducting peer review. There’re many other tools they need to sell tickets and memberships, provide self-service dashboard for attendees, build program schedule, design custom event website, build event app and more. We built Dryfta as an all-inclusive event platform for academia to meet all of these needs and all of this manageable from a single interface.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small? 

Dryfta is built with a focus on academic events. But can be used for corporate events as well. The only feature which is generally not required in corporate events is paper submissions and peer review. Although these two features can also be used in corporate events if they are accepting call for papers from speakers.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

Dryfta was built to help academic event planners manage all aspects of academic conferences including but not limited to, accepting paper submissions, conducting peer review, ticketing, membership sales, customized access control, build custom website and mobile sites, design badges, create program schedule, self-service dashboard for authors and attendees and more.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?

Dryfta is different because we’re focusing on building an event platform which provides multiple tools in a single interface. Some of them are built from the ground up and some are 3rd party integration. But they all are accessible from a single event platform. That’s one major difference. There is another difference. We made sure our infrastructure is state of the art and fool proof in case of an attack. To make it fool proof, we have employed dual backup of your data saved and secured in multiple locations across the globe. The backup process is automated and runs on a daily basis. Users can take daily backups of their data and download to their computers. Dryfta is built with an amalgamation of data + design.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

The coolest feature about Dryfta is its abstract submissions and peer review with membership sales and access control.

Anything else we need to know?

Dryfta is an all-inclusive event platform and yet it is one of the most affordable platforms out there. The reason we have kept our price low because we want conferences to produce new knowledge and that is only possible when their focus is shifted from saving money to engaging attendees. We help them do both.
