TechStyleNYC is an event, held during Fashion Week, that brought together fashion and technology.  The event had a wonderful turnout and attendees enjoyed the chance to celebrate NYC’s fashion week in techsy style!

But just who are the brands that attended the event? What’s their take on the event industry? And what did they think of TechStyleNYC? We took the opportunity to interview a few of the attendees and over the next few days will be featuring their interviews, read on for a peek inside the guests’ heads:

First of all, please tell our readers about you – what is the company all about?

Lifetherapy represents a way of life. We help bridge the gap between “No I can’t to ‘Yes, I can”. There are periods of life when we feel overwhelmed, anxious, joy, success, or even failure. Instead of dwelling in feelings of stress and despair, we encourage embracing the challenging times and growing. We created products that awaken your senses and honor your story. Our fragrances, and bath & body collection, along with our self-expressive accessories connect the correlation that exists between our mood and our thoughts. All Lifetherapy products are subtle reminders to live positively & take care of yourself. Real beauty is created through the choices we make each day to live mindfully and intentionally. Every moment is an opportunity to make a conscious choice to choose your mood.

What were the 3 keys to getting the company off the ground – where did you invest your time?

Competitive analysis from years in the industry. Product Development and Passion.

Just having participated in TechStyle NYC, what role do live events play in your branding and marketing initiatives?

Huge. It’s an immeasurable opportunity to talk to people at an event. Meeting people in person creates instant connection with another person. Then that person tells one person. And that person tells one person.

What was a successful social media campaign you hosted that showed great engagement and traction?

For us this is a work in progress – not sure I can think of something we feel that we’ve been successful…

Finally, what is your favorite app?

WAZE – oh my gosh – O B S E S S E D. makes my life so much better.
