We talked to Mary Arnett from Ssh-oes
First of all, please tell our readers about you – what is the company all about?
This is Mary Arnett from Ssh-oes. Ssh-oes are comfortable yet stylish heels engineered to not make noise when you walk.
What were the 3 keys to getting the company off the ground – where did you invest your time?
The first thing we did to get our company off the ground was to develop our product. We experimented with so many different suppliers and materials to find the perfect combination to make the Ssh-oes quiet and comfortable.
Now that the product is developed, we are focusing marketing and marketing so we can bring our product to the women who want it.
Just having participated in the Amplify Your Brand Workshop with Sabina Hitchen and Janine Just, what role do live events play in your branding and marketing initiatives?
I love live events because I love personally meeting people. You can always connect online with people you would like to know but nothing beats face to face. It’s really refreshing.
What was a successful social media campaign you hosted that showed great engagement and traction?
We recently hosted a giveaway with style expert Pamela Pekermen. She featured Ssh-oes in one of her tv segments and we celebrated by giving away a pair on Instragram. It ended being our most commented instagram photo so far.
Finally, what is your favorite app?
My favorite app is Instagram. It’s a great source of inspiration and a good way to connect and stay in touch with people.
